Largo Winch won the "Best series" price at the internationnal comics festival from Sollies-Ville (France)
The Prix Uderzo were awarded on June 7, 2007, in the presence of Albert Uderzo in person, Gérard Depardieu, and Adamo, among others. The Prix Uderzo encourage talent in the comic book industry by awarding “Sangliers” to deserving candidates. ("Sanglier" is the French for "boar"—the great hams made famous in comic book circles by Obelix's appetite!)
Philippe Francq and Jean Van Hamme were awarded the “Sanglier 2007 for best adult comic book” for The Three Eyes of the Tao Guardians, the 15th graphic novel of their Largo Winch series.
Toyota came out in January 2003 with a “collector's” model of its 4x4, emblazoned with Largo Winch’s colors.
